BABY DEE spielt Theater

BABY DEE hat angekündigt, dass sie an mehreren Theateraufführungen teilnehmen wird. Das Stück heißt "Funzone", die Theathergruppe MUGMETDEGOUDENTAND. Hier die Details in ihren eigenen Worten...

FUNZONE is an exuberant play about the many kinds of disguises that enable us to live our lives in the free West. Outrageous drag and adorably cuddly meets the conscientious intellectual.
In FUNZONE the actors ask themselves which identities they've accrued in the course of their lives. And, more important, if they're still able to shed them. For there might come a time that you find out you have become the person you don't want to be. And that you live in a world that rather provides you with a media training, than to give you room for self-reflection, to ask yourself: Who am I? Who am I? Who am I?
FUNZONE is a spectacular feast for the senses, but also a challenge to the mind.

It goes without saying that Baby Dee will find an extra challenge in performing in Dutch. It will be for the visitors to decide whether she realy learned her lines phonetically only – as early director notes advised – or if she actualy knows what she is talking about.

On December 14, 15, 18 and 19 public rehearsals of FUNZONE can be attended at the Toneelschuur in Haarlem on a pay what you want basis. For these rehearsals reservations are mandatory and can only be made by phone – +31 (0)23 517 39 10 – or at the theatre. Keep in mind these are cash only nights.

Following a series of try-outs (December 20, 21, 26, 27) the official premiere of FUNZONE will take place at December 28, followed by one last regular performance in Haarlem the next day.
