Cultural Amnesia auf LP! CULTURAL AMNESIA - Enormous Savages LP / Little Savages 3”CD (ltd. Ed.)
Nach langer Wartezeit wurde nun vom realtiv jungen Würzburger Label Annalogue Records die Veröffentlichung einer Cultural Amnesia LP angekündigt, welche 9 bis dato unveröffentlichte Stücke enthält. Die Auflage beläuft sich auf 400 Abzüge, die ersten 130 Kopien inklusive der "Little Savages" 3”CD. Weitere Infos folgen auf dem Label! Label Homepage: www.annaloguerecords.com Zu Cultural Amnesia: Cultural Amnesia are an English group, first active 1979 - 1983. They reconfigured in 1998 and more material has been recorded in 2004 and 2006. The band’s current activities include this website, new songs, solo projects and two retrospective Cultural AmnesiaLPs; the first, Enormous Savages, for Anna Logue Records (late 2006), the second (a double) with Vinyl on Demand (for 2007). The early sales of the Enormous Savages album will be accompanied by Little Savage, a mini-CD of new material. Cultural Amnesia are: Gerard Greenway, Ben Norland and John Peacock. Their early outlet was the electro/industrial music cassette culture of the late 70s to early 80s. Geff Rushton alias John Balance worked with CA in very early days, wrote some songs and lyrics. They released three albums: Video Rideo, Sinclair’s Luck and The Uncle of the Boot, contributed to some compilations and played occasional concerts.
